I found Amber's memorial card tucked away in a shrine at the Franciscan monastery in Kennebunkport. Such a beautiful young women with a vibrant life! She's a gift to me now while grieving for my loved one. My prayer is for her soul and for your serenity; whomever left it for me to find and where it remains. Thank you!

Zapatka Family it breaks my heart to hear of your loss. In the past I have found Ps 37:11 to be of great comfort. He will call the dead will answer. They shall live at his command. For he will have a longing for the work of his own hand. So have faith and do not wonder for our God can make us stand, and we shall live forever as the work of his own hand.(on earth). Then there will be plenty of ice cream for Amber.

I'm am so sorry for the loss of Amber. I've never met someone so full of energy and life. I had the pleasure of spending two weeks with her at RJG for Train the Trainer. She was extremely intelligent, energetic, and creative. Each of us took something away from that class. We were all excited to schedule our re-certs together, we had a tight knit class. Now we will be missing one very important person, Amber. A hole that can never be filled. We will miss you Amber.

“At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.” I relate this famous quote to Amber. This is coming from someone who barely knew her. What I’ll remember the most about Amber is a compliment she gave me about my high school yearbook photo. I stopped by Lowell High one day during my senior week asking people to sign my yearbook. Amber was a year behind me. She walked up to me in the hall and told me how much she liked my picture. Amber seemed to have a way to make people feel special. I wish I got to know her more. I am truly sorry for your loss! Take comfort that Amber achieved a lot and touched so many people in the short time she was here. I hope the outpouring of love from family and friends is getting you through this difficult time. You’re in my prayers. Amber will always be within all of you.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beautiful and talented daughter. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but my son Ryan worked with her at Nypro and he always had wonderful things to say about her. He is also a UMASS Lowell plastic engineer and he started at Nypro as an intern just like Amber.

My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the Zapatka family.
I had the great privilege of interviewing Amber for a Nypro Internship after her Freshman year and Clinton Engineering was so fortunate to have had the top draft pick choice. I knew then that Amber would one day be a star...and she was.
As we began to share in her development, it was obvious her thirst for knowledge, self-motivation and immediate contributions set her apart. For everything given to her, she gave back double.
When she graduated College, I was again so excited when she accepted our offer for a full time position. We hit the lottery…… She has been a joy to work with and watch become such an amazing and accomplished young woman.
I have been receiving emails from Industry leaders offering their condolences and kind words about experiences working with Amber. She made positive marks wherever she traveled and connected with so many people.
Her legacy is stamped on our hearts……….her personality and spirit were infectious and even in her absence likely to remain without cure…….we will miss her.

When Amber first came to Nypro as an intern, the thought was, another college kid, but over the few years that Amber worked here we could see the "college kid" transform into the most energetic, hard working, and beautiful woman she became, inside and out. A life cut way too short, she is sorely missed. Amber played hard, worked hard, and lived life to the fullest. No doubt, her angels wings carried her to heaven faster than God speed!!! I met Amber during her first year as an intern at Nypro, and we instantly became good friends. I was smiling looking through old messages from her the other night, one in particular reading, "Are you in your office?! I'm bringing you cookies!" That was just the type of person she was. Caring, thoughtful, hilarious, and with a smile and presence that could make anyone's day better. My heart is aching for her, her family and friends, but I am so incredibly grateful that I had the chance to get to know her and stay in touch with her over the years since I left Nypro. Her friendship is something I will treasure forever, along with all the wonderful memories she left me with. Thoughts and prayers to all of you in this difficult, difficult time.

Amber was my student in English at NAPS in 2007 and has stayed in touch ever since. I still remember her essay about rowing that ended with the emphatic assertion, "I AM CREW!" She was a big-hearted girl, outspoken, and so full of life. She was the same age as my middle daughter, so I send condolences especially to her parents as I cannot imagine sustaining such a grievous loss. I will always hold Amber in my heart and wish peace and comfort to all who loved her.

Amber was a shining light from the very first time I met her when she was in kindergarten and I was her music and art teacher. I was delighted to find out that we were actually part of an extended family. While we didn't stay in touch on a personal level, I followed her progress through the Sun and continued to be impressed, but never surprised. She was such a wonderful kind hearted girl and yes from our talks she enjoyed like to it's fullest. May the good Lord welcome you as his new Angel into his kingdom may you bring joy to all you meet in your new home I will listen for the rowing chants the soccer balls being kicked and the skis churning in the snow. I was part of her work family, her golf family and her Nypro soccer family when we had a work league here a few years ago. I worked the company holiday receptions with her as well – I could tell that she loved being a costume character and interacting with the kids and making them smile. She surprised us last holiday in super, secret Santa mode leaving handmade ornaments overnight in our cubes. Her smile lit up a room. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Amber. My condolences go out to her friends and family. I played soccer with Amber at Lowell High. As a Freshman it is certainly nerve-racking to be in a new school with new people. Amber was my teammate in that first year and she was so welcoming. She made it easier to transition to high school and made me feel instantly a part of the team. I know she will be missed.

I was very lucky to work with Amber the past 7 years at Nypro. She was an amazing person full of life. I would often tell her I don't know how she keeps up with her life because she was so busy, it makes me tired. She would just laugh and smile.
