Robert H. “Bob” Guerin

Robert H. “Bob” Guerin, age 78, a lifelong resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. 

Born in Lowell on August 3, 1943, he was a son of the late Henry P. and Lucienne R. (Adams) Guerin. He received his early education from Ste Jeanne d’Arc elementary school and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School.

Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1963. 

After returning home from the Army, he began his 39 year career with the Raytheon Co. having worked at both the Bedford and Tewksbury offices and retiring as a supervisor of Engineering Services.

Bob loved going out to eat and spending time with his family and the special bond he had with his brother Norman. He was also very grateful for the special ties he made at Saab Residence Assisted Living.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Paul Belanger of Windham; five grandchildren, Keith, Rachel, and Mark Belanger, along with Allyssa and Katlyn Guerin; two great grandchildren, Saige and Jasper; his brother and sister-in-law, Norman J. and Pauline Guerin of Dracut; and nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Donald R. Guerin and brother of the late Pauline Fournier and her late husband Roger Fournier.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Thursday, Aug. 4, from 8 to 9 a.m.  His Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Parish, Wheeler Rd., Dracut. Committal services with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial in his name to a Veterans charity of your choice.
