Our dearest loved one has left us and gone home to be with our heavenly father above. 

Jose “Luis” Escalera Jr, passed away suddenly in the early morning on April 21st 2019. Luis was considered a “Jack of All trades”, a kind hearted giant and a person who loved unconditionally. 

Luis is survived by his father and mother, Jose and Alejandrina Escalera; his older sister, Omaira Escalera Jones; two brothers, Angel Escalera and Ramon Escalera; his children and step children, Aspen Sottile, Nicko Escalera, Isias Escalera, Ashley Crooker and A.J. Crooker; his grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends will be received at the R.W. Martin Funeral Home 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Saturday, May 4th from 9 to 11 a.m.  A Prayer Service will take place immediately following at 11 in the Funeral Home.  A procession will then follow to Westlawn II Cemetery on Boston Rd. in Lowell for Graveside Services.  To memorialize Luis the family suggests flowers or a monetary offering to assist the family.
