Mr. Vincent R. Schiller, age 94, a former longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Woburn Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Mugette L. (Marion) Schiller.
Born in Lowell on March 2, 1923 he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie-Blanche (Vincent) Schiller.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1946.
Vincent was educated in the Lowell School system and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and Assumption College.
He and his wife established Schiller Jewelers in downtown Lowell in the late 70’s and operated the business until his retirement in 1988.
He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Dr. Neal Schiller and his wife Kathleen of Riverside, CA; a daughter and son in law, Pearl Joyce and her husband Joseph of Westford; six grandchildren, Jarrod, Ryan, and Evan Joyce, Matthew, Kevin and David Schiller; and four great grandchildren, Finian, Sean, Nora and Vivian Joyce.
SCHILLER – Mr. Vincent R. Schiller. It being his wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A committal service with military honors will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, to which all are invited. Arrangements by the R. W.
