Loving wife, mother and grandmother

Mrs. Therese J. (Marcotte) Moore, age 89, a longtime resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on August 10, 2018, at Tufts Medical Center, with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of George H. Moore for 60 years.

Born in Lowell on May 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Narcisse “Babe” and Laura (Giguere) Marcotte.

She was educated in Lowell and was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France church.

Therese was a homemaker who loved caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving her in addition to her husband George are a son and daughter in law, Thomas R. and Michelle Moore of Keene, NH; two daughters, Suzanne T. Melanson and Diane L. Longtin, both of Lowell; her loving grandchildren: James and Allison Melanson of Merrimack, NH; Justin Melanson of Tyngsboro, MA; Jonathan Moore and Joshua Moore both of Keene, NH; Renee Moore of Government Camp, Oregon and Cassandra and Kyle Burlas of Cincinnati, OH.
