Therese J. (L’Heureux) Eno
1928 - 2017
Therese J. (L’Heureux) Eno, age 88, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 31, 2017 at a nursing facility in Chelmsford. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur L. Eno.
Born in Lowell on September 1, 1928, she was the daughter of Ernest and Lillian L’Heureux. Therese graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls and over the years worked at Lowell Dress Co., Symphonics, Sanders and Raytheon. However, she truly enjoyed retirement where she enjoyed having lunch daily at the Senior Center and numerous overnight and day trips with her friends.
Therese enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing scrabble, bingo, cards, crocheting and reading while always humming a tune or two. She was always around to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. After enjoying the birth of four grandsons, another of her great joys was the day she held her great-granddaughter in her arms for the first time.
Therese is survived by her daughter, Lucille Charbonneau and her husband, Richard of Center Conway, NH, and her son, A. Leon Eno, Jr. and his wife Diane (Caissie) of Lowell, MA. She has four grandsons, Robert Eno of Greenville, NC, Craig Eno of Portland, OR, Jerome Eno of Brooklyn, NY and Matt Charbonneau and his wife, Lianne (Russo) of Hudson, NH. She also has a great granddaughter, Aria Rose Charbonneau. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine L’Heureux and her brother, Leon L’Heureux both of Lowell, MA, and is pre-deceased by five brothers and sisters, Paul L’Heureux, Claire (L’Heureux) Poirier, Cecile (L’Heureux) Brassard, Beatrice (L’Heureux) Sutcliffe and Raymond L’Heureux. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
