Therese Y. (Frechette) Lajeunesse

1927 - 2017

Mrs. Therese Y. (Frechette) Lajeunesse, age 89, a resident of Billerica and formerly of Dracut, died on January 3, 2017, in Lowell.  She was the wife of the late Robert L. Lajeunesse.  

Born in Lowell, on September 4, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Odelie (Jacques) Frechette.

She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Parish in Dracut. 

Therese enjoyed golfing, dancing, crafts and playing cards.

She is survived by three daughters and three sons-in-law, Suzanne Y. and Albert M. Bourgeois of Dracut, Denise C. and Fred R. Therriault of Georgia and Celeste D. and Raul G. Trochez of Colmar, France; eight grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Kim, Donald, Michael and his wife Sarah, Sandra and her husband Charles, Robert, Allyson and her husband Tom, Gabrielle and her husband Joe and Christina; six great grandchildren, Gillian, Andrew, Caroline, Amanda, Ashley and Amber; two great great-grandchildren, Jaylynn and Keygan; a sister, Rita Montbleau of Billerica; also nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Jeannette Belleville, Edward Frechette and Ernest Frechette.

LAJEUNESSE – Mrs. Therese Y. (Frechette) Lajeunesse.  According to her wishes, there will be no visiting hours.  Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass to be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Ste Marguerite D’Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations for trackers for the elderly to: Dracut Volunteers Inc., c/o Attorney Colleen Garry, 101 Broadway Rd., #22, Dracut, MA 01826.  Arrangements by the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, Lowell.
