Mrs. Katharine A. (Lehman) King, age 82, resident of Lowell, passed away on February 21, 2019, at the Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side.  She was the wife of the late Cecil H. King Jr. who died in 2004.

Born in Bedford, MA on January 11, 1937, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Mabel B. (Hamilton) Lehman.

She was raised in Bedford and was educated in the Bedford School system.

Katharine enjoyed bingo, traveling her grandchildren and she loved family gatherings.

She is survived by a son, Howard W. King of Skowhegan, ME; two daughters and a son in law, Patricia M. Castelo and her husband Jose of Lowell and Cheryl A. Norton of Farmington, NH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters in law, Charles Lehman of Lowell, Richard and Roberta Lehman of FL and James and Carol Lehman of Burlington, MA; a sister, Midge Caloggero of VA; a sister in law, Marie Lehman of MA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother of the late Theresa King and Robert C. King and sister of the late Robert, George, John and Arthur Lehman and Mary Proctor and Carol Smith.

KING  – Mrs. Katharine A. (Lehman) King, age 82, a resident of Lowell and wife of the late Cecil H. King Jr.  Relatives and friends will be received at the R. W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME 308 Pawtucket, St., Lowell on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service to held in the funeral home at 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, Philanthropy Office, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
