 Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather

Mr. Henry W. Saucier, of Lowell, age 81, a former longtime resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away at his home on April 28, 2018 with his loving family by his side.  He was the husband of Alice I. (Marshall) (King) Saucier.   

Born in Lowell, on August 12, 1936, he was a son of the late Onesime and Flora (Maille) Saucier.

Henry enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, trips to the casinos, scratch tickets, family cookouts, Disney World, vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, going out to dinner and ordering clam chowder.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Gaudette Paving and later for the City of Lowell as a Foreman for the Parks Department.

Surviving him in addition to his loving wife Alice are six daughters, Pauline J. Saucier of Lowell, Susan C. Bennett and her husband William of CA, Kelley A. Underwood and her husband Richard of Lowell, Kathleen Wilson and her husband Daniel of Hudson, NH, Brenda A. King of Lowell and Linda I. Johnson and her husband Brian of Bristol, NH; two sons, Michael W. King of Manchester, NH and the late Timothy S. King; ten grandchildren, Nicholus, Derek, Ryan, Hollie, Jessica, Ricky Jr., Katelyn, Kristina, Samantha and Tabitha; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond Saucier of Lowell, Arthur Saucier of Lowell and Roger Saucier of Lowell; a sister, Mrs. Laurette Moore of Lowell; his very dear friends, Gerard and Doris Bellerose of Lowell, Louis and Pauline Abreau of Dracut and Roland W. Martin of Dracut; also several nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Roland, George, Paul, Alfred, Gerard, Robert, Jeanne Benevento, Claire Dubois and Rita Villandry.

SAUCIER – died in Lowell on April 28.  Mr. Henry W. Saucier, age 81, a resident of Lowell and the husband of Alice I. (Marshall) (King) Saucier.  Relatives and friends may call at the R.W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket St., on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 543 Bridge St., Lowell.
