Henry I. Lambert
WWII Veteran
DRACUT – Mr. Henry I. Lambert, age 95, a longtime resident of Dracut, died on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford.
Born in Lowell on August 12, 1922, he was a son of the late George and Marie (Guillemette) Lambert.
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Parish in Dracut.
Henry was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, having served from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945. He received many commendations including a Purple Heart.
After coming home from active duty, he worked in the Boott Mills in Lowell until his retirement.
Henry was a very kind, compassionate and giving person whom belonged to several religious organizations including, the Oblate of Mary Immaculate Vocations, Miraculous Medal Association, Poor Clair Guild, Little Flower Society, Pious of St. Joseph Society and the E.W.T.N. Mother Angelica.
He is survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Henry was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters, Orise, Wilfred, Yvonne, Leo, William, Ernest, Irene, Antonio, Lucille and Edouard.
