DRACUT – Mr. Donald L. Beauchesne, age 83, a longtime resident of Dracut, died on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of Mary R. (Donahue) Beauchesne. 

Born in Lowell, on December 13, 1933, he was a son of the late Leo and Leonne (Rondeau) Beauchesne.

He was educated in the Lowell school system and was a parishioner of St. Marguerite D’Youville Parish in Dracut.

Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, having served from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1954.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Trans Gas and he was also the owner and operator of Merrimack-Motor Trans Co. Inc.

In addition to his loving wife Mary, he is survived by a son and daughter in law, Richard R. and Kim Beauchesne of Lowell; two daughters and two sons in law, Melanie A. and Robert J. Duval of Dracut and Melissa M. and Tim Nee of S. Portland, ME; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five sisters, Pauline Gagniere, Beatrice Janeczko, Rita Brodeur, Doris Gendreau and Estelle Morrissette; and several nieces and nephews.  He was also the brother of the late Therese Archambault, Richard and Wilford Beauchesne.

 

BEAUCHESNE – Donald Beauchesne.  Relatives and friends may call at the R. W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket Street, Lowell on Thursday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. His funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m. in Ste Marguerite D’Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut.  Committal services will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut.  For online condolences or directions, please visit www.martinfuneralhome.net.
