Margaret F. “Peg” (Schwartz) Joncas, born on July 28, 1961, peacefully departed from this world on February 24, 2024, after a brief illness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew her.
Peg, originally from Massachusetts, found her home in Pompano Beach, FL, where she embraced the beauty of the beach and lived a life filled with joy. In her younger years, Peg was an avid horseman, finding solace and excitement in the companionship of these majestic creatures. Her love for horses remained a cherished part of her identity throughout her life.
As a dedicated and skilled hairdresser, Peg enjoyed a fulfilling career where she not only showcased her talents but also formed lasting connections with countless individuals. Her profession allowed her to meet and socialize with many, and she took great pleasure in the art of making others look and feel their best.
Peg was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Helen Schwartz, as well as her ex-husband, Malcom Joncas.
She is survived by two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard E. and Deborah Schwartz of SC; Paul M. and Kelley Schwartz of Tyngsborough; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan M. and David Robson of Tyngsborough; five nephews, David, Craig and Evan Robson, Matthew and George Silva; a niece, Madison Schwartz; and her longtime friend, Terry Crowell of Pompano Beach, FL.
In the hearts of those she leaves behind, Peg's memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty she so adored.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Saturday, March 9, from 12 to 2 p.m. A prayer service will take place immediately following at 2 p.m. Burial will take place privately in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
