William "Bill" L. Arsenault

SALEM, NH - Mr. William “Bill” L. Arsenault, resident of Salem, NH, died on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, with his beloved wife Barbara A. (LeMaitre) Arsenault by his side.

Born in Lowell on May 4, 1935 he was the son of the late William B. Arsenault and the late Irene (Coderre) Arsenault.

Bill was educated in the Lowell school system and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1960.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a foreman in the maintenance division at the University of Lowell for several years.

He had a passion for model trains and had built a barn on his property to house his large collection.  He also enjoyed aquariums and learning about the different species of fish.   

Surviving him in addition to his loving wife Barbara; are an aunt, Lillian Laurent of Lowell; and nieces.

He was also the brother of the late Caroline Hackett, the brother in law of the late Lucien H. LeMaitre and the step son of the late Raymond L. Arsenault.

ARSENAULT– died July 18, 2015 in Methuen.  Mr. William “Bill” L. Arsenault, age 80, a resident of Salem, NH and the beloved husband of Barbara A. (LeMaitre) Arsenault.  Relatives and friends may call at the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A committal service with military honors will follow at 12 noon in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
