Ruth A. (Dennis) Pelletier resident of Lowell;83

Mrs. Ruth A. (Dennis) Pelletier, age 83, a longtime resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died on Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Lowell.  She was the wife of Donald F. Pelletier. 

Born in Attleboro, MA on June 11, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Leda (Renaud) Dennis.

She was educated in the Attleboro school system and was a graduate of Bridgewater State University. 

Ruth was a longtime parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a second grade teacher at the Hugh J. Molloy Elementary School in Lowell.

Ruth enjoyed keeping busy with housework, reading books, newspapers and the Daily Chronicle.

Surviving her in addition to her loving husband Donald are three sons and two daughters in law, Thomas E. and Karen Pelletier of Dracut, David R. Pelletier of Tewksbury and Kenneth L. and Sheree Pelletier of Bristol, NH; a grandson, Jordan Pelletier; a brother and sister in law, Robert and Jacqueline Dennis of Venice, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

MARTIN FUNERAL HOME 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell on TUESDAY from 4 to 8 p.m. ATTENDANT PARKING.  Funeral Wednesday with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 12 noon at St. Margaret Parish, 374 Stevens Street, Lowell, MA.  Committal prayers will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to St. Joseph the Worker Shrine, 37 Lee St., Lowell, MA 01852.
