Roger P. Foucher

          …formerly of Dracut

Mr. Roger Paul Foucher, a former resident of Dracut, passed away very unexpectedly on June 1, 2016, on his property, doing what he loved, where he loved doing it in Molson, WA.

Born in Lowell on June 5, 1953, he was a son of the late Gerard H. “Ted” and Juliette S. (Desrosiers) Foucher.

Roger was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School, Class of 1971.  He was also a 1975 graduate of Lowell Technological Institute with a B.S. in Business Administration; a 1980 graduate of University of Washington for Business Education and he earned his MBA from the Western Washington University in 1986.

Roger was a very special person, warm, kind and social.  He loved visiting with friends anywhere, everywhere and at any time.  Roger loved nature and the natural world.  He especially loved Molson, where he could sit on the porch of the cabin and take it all in for hours.  He was a rare person, and will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his longtime partner of 30 years, Darton Overby of Shoreline, WA; a brother, Norman G. Foucher of Lowell; three sisters and two brothers in law, Janet Ramsdell of Salisbury, MA, Elaine L. Lagasse and her husband Arthur of Dracut, Dianne Clancy and her husband Patrick of Winthrop, WA; many cousins in the US and Canada, as well as many loving friends.

He was also the brother of the late Kenneth Foucher.
