LITCHFIELD, NH - Mrs. Patricia A. (O’Neil) Valenti, age 67, died on Thursday evening, August 11, 2016, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of Angelo G. Valenti.

Born in Brockton, on July 31, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Bernadette T. (Benoit) O’Neil.

Patricia was educated in the Lowell School system and was a graduate of Salem State College.

She was a parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church and more recently of the Parish of Saint Rita.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a teacher at Ste Jeanne d’Arc School.

She enjoyed traveling and was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Patricia and Angelo had a special “grand” relationship with Maria’s sons, Anthony and Christopher and Meredith’s daughters, Aurora and Callista, always spending the holidays and birthdays together, and they adored her.

Patricia’s family and friends hold her in high esteem, for her generosity, time, spirit and gifts.  She was renowned for her delicious and attractive fruit trays and salads which she often brought to gatherings of family and friends, as well as she and Angelo would never hesitate to provide transportation on the way to these events.

Surviving her, in addition to her loving husband Angelo, are two brothers and two sisters in law, Daniel P. and Janet O’Neil of Dracut, Michael R. and Gina O’Neil of Stoughton; three sisters and a brother in law, Nancy J. O’Neil-Murphy and her husband John of Lowell, Denise C. O’Neil of Lowell and Maria T. Munro of ME; thirteen nieces and nephews, Rebecca Powers whom was also her godchild, Meredith Powers Ferreira, Jen Davis, Greg O’Neil, Chris O’Neil, Mary Blanchard, Jeremy O’Neil, Daniel O’Neil Ortiz, Javier O’Neil Ortiz, Nicholas O’Neil, Olivia O’Neil, Anthony Munroe and Chris Munroe; sixteen great nieces and great nephews; and many dear friends.

Patricia was also the mother of the late Angelo Natale Valenti.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to The Town and Country and Sunny Acres Nursing facilities for their T.L.C. and to the staff and volunteers at the Community Hospice house, for making Patricia’s transition a sure spiritual and uplifting experience for her and her family.

MARTIN FUNERAL HOME 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. ATTENDANT PARKING.  Funeral Monday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell.  Committal services will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd., Nashua, NH 03064.
