DRACUT – Mrs. Marguerite R. (Roy) Campbell, age 89, a former longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Wednesday morning, July 29, 2015.  She was the beloved wife of Clarence R. Campbell.

Born in Lowell, on May 18, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Grace M. (Caron) Roy.

She was a parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church and more recently of St. Francis Parish in Dracut and was a longtime member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a receptionist for the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

Marguerite always relished family get-togethers, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the true joys of her life.

Surviving her, in addition to her loving husband, are a daughter and son in law, Christine M. Hoole and her husband Steven of Dracut; a son, Roy J. Campbell of Lawrence; three grandchildren, Danielle Cronin and her husband Stephen, Jason Hoole, and Lauren Hoole and her boyfriend Matthew Bourassa; five great grandchildren, Emma, Joey, Aiden, Anna Maeve and Jack; her twin sister and her brother in law, Georgette T. and Wilfred Dupuis of Lowell; three brothers and three sisters in law, Gerald J. and Kathleen Roy of Pawtucket, RI, Norman L. and Diane Roy of Easthampton, MA, and John V. and Kimberly Roy of Windham, NH; she was predeceased by her sister Pauline M. Boudreau and is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

 

CAMPBELL – died in Lowell on July 29, 2015. Mrs. Marguerite R. (Roy) Campbell, age 89, a resident of Dracut and the beloved wife of Clarence R. Campbell.  Relatives and friends may call at the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m.  ATTENDANT PARKING.  Funeral Monday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Rd., Dracut.  Those planning to attend the funeral mass are asked to meet directly at church.  Committal services will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.  Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 914, Lowell, MA 01853.
