Joseph O. Harper

Joseph O. Harper, age 84, a longtime resident of Lowell, died on September 14, 2016 at the Willow Manor Nursing Center.  He was the husband of Mary J. Harper. 

Born in Westford on October 30, 1931, he was a son of the late Wesley and Beatrice (Milot) Harper.

Joe was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War having served from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952.

He is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Gary, Bruce and Thomas; two daughters, Doreen and Patty Ann; his grandchildren and his brother Wesley.

He was also the father of the late Joanne and brother of the late Richard.
