Joanne M. (Cardoza) Gervais

Joanne M. (Cardoza) Gervais, a resident of Lowell, died on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at her home, with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of Stephen M. Gervais.

Born in Lowell, on November 21, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Eva Cardoza and the late Henry Stott.

Joanne enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her two grandchildren.

Prior to her illness, she was employed as a cook for the Tyngsborough High School.  

Surviving her in addition to her husband are two sons, Jared M. Gervais and his companion Jodi Woodman of Dracut and Dylan Gervais and his companion Debbie Austin of Lowell; two grandchildren, Kayden and Ariel; a brother, Joseph Marcinuk of Lowell; two nephews, John K. Marcinuk and Jeffrey N. Marcinuk both of Lowell; two aunts, Theresa A. Sousa and Mary Dalton both of Tyngsborough; an uncle, Joseph F. Cardoza of Lowell; and several cousins.  

GERVAIS – Joanne M. (Cardoza) Gervais.  Funeral services were held privately at Tyngsborough Memorial Cemetery.  Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Lowell General Cancer Center, c/o Philanthropy, Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
