Mrs. Georgia M. (Lacourse) Fratus, age 76, of Lowell, passed away on January 23, 2018, at the Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side.  She was the wife of the late Brendon F. Fratus who died in 2009.

Born in Lowell on March 25, 1941, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Lillian F. (Waterworth) Lacourse.

She was raised in Lowell and was educated in the Lowell School system.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a cafeteria worker for the City of Lowell School Department.

Georgia enjoyed watching horror movies with all who would watch them with her, music sung by Frank Sinatra and her husband, spending time with her family, playing cards with friends, and her beloved cats Buddy and Mama Kitty.

She is survived by two sons and their daughter in laws, Edward R. Hannon II and Gloria Hannon of Hooksett, NH and Michael B. and Amy Hannon of Hudson, NH; two daughters, Tammy Fratus and her husband Mark Alemesis of Lowell and Kathleen Hannon of Lowell; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren;  she is also survived by several nieces and nephews, her best friends Peggy Ruskey and Frances Fecteau-Daley and many other dear friends.

She was also the sister of the late George Lacourse, Lillian Gleason, Eleanor Gosselin and Georgette McDougal.

FRATUS – Mrs. Georgia M. (Lacourse) Fratus.  Relatives and friends may call at the R. W.
