Felix Pino, age 63, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully Friday at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maricela (Martinez) Pino. Born in Cali, Colombia on January 7, 1952 he was a son of the late Feliciano and Ana F. (Rios) Pino.
Today our family grieves the loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Patriarch of our family although no longer physically with us will forever remain with all who knew him through his kindness and humility. His selfless care and concern for others and willingness to help without expectations made him a leader within our family and the Colombian community.
He was a longtime communicant of St. Patricks Church.
Surviving him in addition to his loving wife are a son and daughter in law, Cristhian and Michelle L. Garcia of Lowell; a daughter, Maricela Garcia of Colombia; six grandchildren, George, Alexander, Jonathan, Sofia, Brianna and Felix; four brothers, Jose G. Pino and wife Aida Pino of Lowell, Arled Pino of Colombia, Henry Pino of Lowell and Carlos A. Pino and wife Consuelo Pino of West Palm Beach, FL, and the late Jose Antonio Pino; two sisters, Doris Ibarra and Carmelita Pino both of Lowell; also many nieces, nephews and friends who hold a very special place in his heart.
