Mrs. Doris M. (Clermont) O’Beirne, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died peacefully in her sleep, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late William F. O’Beirne. Born in Lowell on April 20, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Anna (Bellemare) Clermont. She was educated at Ste. Jeanne d’Arc School and Notre Dame Academy and received her G.E.D. in her later years. She was a parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church. Doris enjoyed being at home and spending time with her family. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Wang Laboratory in their account payable department. She is survived by four sons and two daughters in law, Thomas W. J. O’Beirne of Litchfield, NH, Michael L. and his wife Gloria O’Beirne of Methuen, John J. and his wife Karen O’Beirne of Lowell, William F. O’Beirne II of Lowell; five daughters and five sons in law; Ann Marie L. Gamache and her husband Raymond Mayotte of Nashua, NH, Kathleen D. and her husband Paul Fortier of Portsmouth, RI, Theresa I. and her husband Paul Barr of Lowell, Dolores G. and her husband Richard Fortier of Gardner, MA and Doris L. and her husband Randy Briere of Lowell; a sister Gertrude A. Clermont of Lowell; a brother and sister in law, Richard and his wife Janice Clermont of White House Point, FL; twenty seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; also her former daughters in law, Aline and Lisa. She was the sister of the late J. Leo Clermont, Roland Clermont, Roger Clermont, Irene A. St. Jean, Germain E. Jussaume, Rita Mayotte and Alice M. Chateauneuf and mother in law of the late Roger Gamache. 

O’BEIRNE – died in Lowell on Aug. 19, 2015. Mrs. Doris M. (Clermont) O’Beirne, age 83, a resident of Lowell and wife of the late William F. O’Beirne. Relatives and friends may call at the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell, MA on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. ATTENDANT PARKING. Funeral Saturday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Kathryn Parish, 4 Dracut Rd., Hudson, NH. Those wishing to attend the funeral mass are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those wishing may make a memorial contribution to the Ste Jeanne d’Arc School, Athletic Program, 68 Dracut Street, Lowell, MA 01854.
