     …husband, father and grandfather

Mr. Charles O. Landry, age 77, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at his home. He was the loving husband of Eleanor Ann (Connell) Landry.

Born in Lowell on May 26, 1939, he was a son of the late Oscar and Yvonne A. (Marchand) Landry.

Prior to his retirement, he was worked for numerous construction companies as a construction laborer.

Charles enjoyed his daily walks around the city, joking with family and friends and assisting anyone who was in need.

Surviving him in addition to his loving wife Eleanor, are two daughters and a son in law, Deborah A. and her husband Carmelo Ayala of Lowell and Karen A. Burns of Hudson, NH; three grandchildren, Shaun Spanos, Crystal Spanos and Kevin Burns; two great grandchildren, Liam and Naomie; a sister, Eva Dupont of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late William, Gerard, Leo, Roger and Armand Landry and Yvette Christian, Jeanne Bourassa, Doris Guilbeault, Cecile Pilotte, Rita Daunais, Irene McDonald and Therese Geoffroy.   

LANDRY– died Sept. 25, in Lowell.  Mr. Charles O. Landry, age 77, a resident of Lowell and the beloved husband of Eleanor Ann (Connell) Landry.  Relatives and friends may call at the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m.
