Cecile L. (Lamoureux) Goulet

Mrs. Cecile L. (Lamoureux) Goulet, age 81, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died on January 23, 2017, at a nursing facility in Lowell.  She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Goulet and mother of the late Ross A. Wagner and Leonard B. Wagner, Sr.

Born in Lowell on July 6, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Leon W. and Rose A. (April) Lamoureux.

She was educated in Lowell and was a graduate of St. Joseph Girls High School.

Prior to her retirement, Cecile was employed as a bookkeeper for Lo Medco in Lowell.  She was also a longtime volunteer for the Lowell Association of Retarded Citizens.

She loved playing Bingo, speaking French and watching television musicals.

Surviving her are a daughter in law, Elizabeth A. Wagner of Moultonborough, NH; five grandchildren, Leonard B. and Kim Wagner, Jr, Brandee and Marc Loughlin, Samantha and Andrew Cass, Erik and Heidi Wagner and Toni Wagner; seven great grandchildren, Leonard III, Connor, Mackenzie, Moragan, Karter, Broderik and Wesley; a sister, Sr. Lillian Lamoureux of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was also the sister of the late Raymond, Leon and Joseph Lamoureux and Irene Harvey.

GOULET – Mrs. Cecile L. (Lamoureux) Goulet.  In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her committal service on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.  For online condolences or directions, please visit www.martinfuneralhome.net.
