Arline E. (Scott) Bowen
resident of Lowell; age 81

Mrs. Arline E. (Scott) Bowen, a resident of Lowell, died on Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Richard N. Bowen.
Born in Lowell, on August 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Frank O. and Elsie B. (Woessner) Scott.
She was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1951 and a longtime member of the Matthews Memorial Primative Methodist Church.
Arline enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing with her husband, sewing and creating her own wardrobe, decorating, crafts, baking, cooking, traveling, gardening and watching old movies. She also loved spending time at her summer home in York Beach, Maine.
Prior to her retirement, Arline had worked as a bookkeeper for several companies including, Burbeck’s Milk Co., Brady Business Forms and the George McQuesten Lumber Co.
Surviving her in addition to her husband are two sons and two daughters in law, Scott N. and Lucinda Bowen of Harvard, MA and Keith R. and Mary Beth Bowen of Lowell; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
