LOWELL - Angel M. Walters, age 59, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died on October 6th 2016, at his home with his loving family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Monte Christi, Dominican Republic on April 28, 1957, he was a son of Carmen Walters and Jose D. Tatis.  

Prior to his illness he had worked in the home health care field as a nurse’s aide.  

He is survived by his mother, Carmen Walters; a son, Hiram Cruz; three sisters, Carmen L. Walters, Josephine Walters and Susana Walters; two brothers, Manuel Estevez and Jose David Estevez; his longtime companion Carmen Cirilo and family including her grandson Neftaly Medina and several family members in the US and the Dominican Republic.
